Tired of tournaments and events where coaches never get the chance to see you and if they happen to be at your field you don't get the opportunity to really show what you can do? The NEXT STEP SHOWCASE takes care of that!

Having been to countless events where we saw players, families, and college coaches become frustrated we created an opportunity that puts the players first while allowing the coaches REAL opportunities to see players showcase their skills, abilities, and personalities! Here are 7 ways in which the NEXT STEP SHOWCASE is different:

1) All we do is play! After a brief introduction players get to the field and begin doing what they love most...PLAY THE GAME!

2) Games are short field and small roster which means plenty of reps and touches while keeping active. No more waiting at one end of the field while the game is being played 80 yards away. Coaches don't make a recruiting decision based on one play so no matter if it is a perfect goal, a missed catch, an awesome defensive slide, or a less than perfect ground ball you will have ample opportunity to show what you can do.

3) You have to do it all! Offense, defense, transition, quick decisions, subbing on the fly, you name it! Just because you do one thing really well doesn't mean coaches don't want to see what else you can bring to their roster.

4) You're in charge! We randomly assign you to a team so you've got to get to know who you are playing with quickly and let your personality shine! Rosters will be player lead so no coaches telling you what to do, just each of you communicating with each other. Coaches want to see players during all parts of the event on the field and on the sidelines so be the best version of yourself and coaches will notice!

5) Coaches come to you! Rather than having you gather your things and rotate fields, you stay put and the coaches move from field to field. While coaches will spend time at each field getting time to see each player, we've also built in time for them to move between fields freely so if they like what they see, they'll be back.

6) We LOVE parents and how you support your player but for this event, we want you to do it from a distance. Asking you to take that step back allows your players to be who they really are and coaches want to see that! Don't worry, you'll still be able to see all of the action but unlike many events, you just won't be on the sideline.

7) If some of this sounds like it may be out of your comfort zone...that's by design! Players aren't always presented with their ideal situations or setup and coaches like to see how you respond. When you're on a college roster, coaches see you at your best and at your worst so pushing you gives them a glimpse of what they could expect. It also gives players a valuable insight into their strengths and areas where they may want to devote more effort.

So if all of this seems different or even unusual, you're right! But give it a chance because we know it works and by the end of the event so you will you!

Players will need to bring all of their equipment to include: Stick, Goggles, and Mouth Guard. Players should wear footwear appropriate for athletic activities on a synthetic grass surface (we highly recommend cleats). Players should also bring a water bottle with enough water to stay hydrated during an active lacrosse session.

Please come dressed for conditions at the time of the event. This time of year, conditions can vary widely so please plan accordingly.

Please plan to arrive early enough to sign in. We will begin promptly at the listed time. Players should plan to be fully dressed and equipped at the listed time.

Only registered players will be permitted on the playing surface during the event.

We encourage parents and family members to attend and observe their players but please keep aware of your surroundings. Lacrosse can be a very fast paced activity and thrown balls have been known to stray from their intended targets. If you have any questions about where a safe viewing location can be found at the venue, simply ask any of the staff in attendance.

All of the facilities we utilize are tobacco, alcohol, JUUL, e-cigarette / vape, and drug free venues.

We love four legged members of the family but please do not bring any pets to the facility. This is as much for their safety as it is for that of our players. An obvious exception is made for service animals.

Once payment is received, no refunds will be issued.
Event registration fees may not be carried forward to any future event and are only used for the event for which they were collected.
Please keep these policies in mind when deciding to register.

All events are assumed to be held as scheduled unless direct notification is made through this website. In the case of inclement weather, every attempt will be made to hold the event as scheduled.

Event organizers reserve the right to modify, amend, or otherwise alter the event to fit the conditions at the time of the event to include coaching or staff changes.

Event organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event in its entirety for reasons of safety, field conditions, under the direction of the facility staff, or at the discretion of the event staff. If possible an alternate date, time, and location will be scheduled. Registrants unable to attend the alternate date will be offered a camp credit to be used toward a future event.

Please keep these policies in mind when deciding to register.

-Coach, I had to take a moment to thank you for this event! Having taken my daughter all over the country and having spend countless hours and dollars, I can say with 100% confidence that this is the BEST investment I have made for her lacrosse future. Education, exposure, and a relaxed environment where each girl had an opportunity to be seen. These are the things that simply aren't available elsewhere. I will be recommending this event to EVERYONE I know!

-We didn't know what to expect but were blown away by what we found. I don't know why all events aren't like this! One week after the event and my daughter has 3 offers and 6 visits. Her friends are finding the same success. Congratulations on building something that WORKS!

-Coach Eliza, From the first moment we connected to your follow up after the event you have been amazing. You made an incredibly complex process easy to understand and gave our family the confidence to move forward feeling empowered. I'm not certain I can ever thank you enough!

-The sheer number of coaches not just in attendance but involved with the girls was so impressive. Coupled with the fact that the girls were actually having fun and showing off their personalities made this day invaluable!

-Hey Coach Eliza just wanted to say thank you again for yesterday! I can't believe I got to talk to and learn from four coaches that are in my top ten all in one place! I can't wait to come back!!

-Hey Coach Eliza! Thank you so much for the invitation to the showcase! I had a lot of fun and got a lot of exposure to college coaches! My parents couldn't be happier and I am excited about my future.

-Hey Coach Eliza, I wanted to say thank you for helping me get to this event, I had an amazing experience and it helped me a lot with starting the recruitment process. Thank you so much, I can't wait for next years showcase!

-Thank you so much for this huge opportunity. It changed my understanding completely and I'm now no longer scared of the process OR showing coaches just exactly what I can do!
